Anna started as a solopreneur who believed real estate should feel personal, not transactional. She ran Anna Powell Real Estate as a sole proprietorship from 2016, stepped into full-time sales in 2019, and in 2021 moved APRE to eXp Realty and opened the office at 704 Broad Street. Today she leads APRE across North Carolina from the home office on Broad Street, running the team on EOS and co-hosting EMPOWER, APRE’s weekly agent training.
She hosts The Leadership Table, gives back through APRE’s community work, and spends every spare hour she can on the water, fishing inshore and offshore.

Every open house is a chance to open more than a door. Starting in November 2026, APRE becomes the official home of Open Houses for a Cause, turning weekends of welcome into support for the neighbors and causes that need it most.
We believe a team is only as strong as the community around it. Through APRE’s signature charity partnership, we stand behind local 501(c)(3) organizations doing the quiet, steady work of caring for our neighbors.
Every year, the Becky Medlin Memorial Scholarship helps one graduating senior young woman get her real estate license, so a dream of building something of her own doesn’t have to wait. Becky Medlin, a Fuquay-Varina native, founded Century 21 Becky Medlin Realty in 1981.
